The crespells are a typical Mallorcan sweet at Easter.
No they have a definite shape since they vary according to the mold with which do, they can have the shape of a star, a flower, a heart, a fish, etc.
They are very easy to make, and for that reason and for its fun ways to children often love them and often do with their families or in the schools (It is usually a typical activity in the schools of the island during the days before Easter)
500 gr of flour
100 gr of butter,
150 gr of sugar,
a glass of olive oil
zest of a lemon
a glass of orange juice
20 gr of olive oil
2 egg yolks
Mix with your hands until it is a smooth and creamy mixture, then add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
When the dough is well homogeneous, let it sit in the fridge for 15-30 minutes.

With molds of different drawings we will make the shape of the crespells and the put on a baking sheet previously coated with oil olive. We will leave it in the oven at 160º for 15-20 minutes.
When they are cooked, we can sprinkle them with powdered sugar if we like them very sweet.
