Today we wanted to go somewhere new and we decided on the Puig de Santa Magdalena restaurant, which, obviously, is on top of Puig de Santa Magdalena, northeast of Inca. This restaurant, like the hotel and restaurant Es Convent de Ariany (which we will also visit soon), the s'Hort des Convent agrotourism or the Ses Oliveres des Convent farm are premises belonging to the Mater Misericordiae organization, which help people with disabilities offering them jobs. So apart from eating well, you are collaborating with a great social work.



The easiest way to get to the restaurant is by the Inca highway and taking exit 30 of Inca , Lluc and Santa Magdalena. Then, following the indications and after a climb with several very closed curves and a perfect natural environment, you reach the top and the restaurant.



The Puig de Santa Magdalena restaurant is a local elegant, cozy, spacious and panoramic, with great views of Inca, Selva and the whole area of Es Raiguer.



They serve a buffet without a lot of variety, but of an undoubted quality based on homemade products such as eggs or oil. Upon arrival, they serve you a cold appetizer consisting of allioli, apple paté and olives, then a hot appetizer with brie cheese croquettes and fish croquettes. Now it's time to attack the buffet and today they had mixed salads with several extra ingredients to make it your own, escalivada tartar, a vegetable cream, cheese board, Wellington monkfish,, foie cannelloni, vegetable lasagna, pork tenderloin with cheese sauce and side dishes: potato and sauteed vegetables. And for dessert you find some tarts in small portions to choose from chocolate cake, banoffee or strawberry cake, also natural or chocolate yogurt and fresh cutted fruit. The menu includes water and a bottle of white or red wine. The price is € 18.70 for adults, € 9.25 for children.



On the website you will be able to better inform yourself about the schedule and season of the terrace, which starts on July 1 and that adds a pa amb oli buffet that we are sure to try. It is always mandatory to book a table.



Our opinion is that it is a recommendable restaurant, good, gourmet, different, with spectacular panoramic views, in a natural environment and the social component that It improves, moreover, the way out to eat.
